Featuring a handpicked line-up of Australia's finest musical theatre performers (we’ll announce these very soon), Sydney Cabaret Playlist is a rare chance to experience extraordinary artists up close, sharing the songs, stories and influences that have shaped them.

Like the perfect playlist or ultimate mix tape, every song leads somewhere unexpected. Voices collide, stories unfold and extraordinary artists share the stage in a celebration of the music they love.

Carefully curated by Sydney Cabaret, this is not an open mic night or talent showcase. Every artist is an established professional performer selected for their artistry, individuality and ability to command a stage.

Together they create a rich musical conversation that is intimate, entertaining and uniquely theatrical.

Hosted by Olivia Vásquez and Jake Tyler, Night Off brings together exceptional voices from across Sydney's musical theatre scene for an intimate evening of live performance.

It's a chance to hear artists sing the songs they love, discover exciting new talent, and learn a little more about the people behind the performances. Along the way, we'll shine a spotlight on the shows, gigs and creative projects that keep our theatre community thriving.

Our vision is simple: to make Night Off a staple of Sydney's musical theatre scene, the place casts gather on their night off, artists support one another, audiences discover new favourites, and every event offers something a little different. Think of it as the cast party everyone's invited to.

Sydney Cabaret is the creative home of producer Chris Archer, dedicated to celebrating exceptional live performance through theatrical concerts, cabaret experiences and unforgettable nights of entertainment. Known for championing Australia's finest performers and creating events with equal parts polish, heart and sparkle, Sydney Cabaret brings together artists and audiences in a shared celebration of music, storytelling and theatrical magic.

Over the years, Sydney Cabaret (previously Archery Productions) has produced and presented a diverse range of shows including Show Queen with Trevor Ashley, Sunday Service with Sarah Murr, Movicals, Cabaret Playlist, Claire's Cabaret, the Sydney Cabaret Competition, An Evening with Erin Cornell, Resurrection starring Alexis Fishman, and international guest performances from Broadway favourite Christina Bianco and New York cabaret sensation Brian Nash.
